So, the problem isn't that by being closed a day you won't receive stuff for another week . . . it sounds like because you took the cheapest shipping option, you have to wait longer?

So why are you even saying it will take an extra week because the USPS doesn't ship stuff on Wednesday because they're closed for one day?

Perhaps....I'm still new to TFAW so i don't know how slow or fast they usually are

That's cool - I love when retailers go the extra mile like that.

And we get our comics down here tomorrow as per normal. Nice to not have a US holiday bugger things up for us for a change.

My LCS will be closed, but seeing as how John gets his books on Wednesday, and UPS will not be shipping on the fourth, that's understandable. I'll just have to go Thursday. It's a bit of an inconvenience since I have to make two trips into Washington (a 5-10 minute trip), one for groceries and another for comics, but one week of splitting up my shopping's fine.

But you already had Australia Day back in January . . . we had to wait about sixth months more for our National Holiday celebration here in the U.S. . . . and is it winter now where you are?
