Ah the sheer feeling of anger one gets when a friend loses a book you loaned them, right when you want it back.
I'v this friend who, everything I nab premier tickets to see a big movie (Dark Knight, Star Trek, Green Lantern, ect ect), I bring him because he's a fan too, then I find it hard to get to get tickets for the new Batman, but it seems he has and posted a picture of his tickets on facebook.
Don't get me wrong, he's married and probably wants to bring his wifey, which is fine, but I can't help feel a bit used! I mean I could have brought my girlfriend and other friends too those times!
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
One last thing, Olly has decided that he wants to give fans a special treat. When you buy a poster, you will have the chance to receive a GOLDEN TICKET. It will be randomly inserted into a poster tube and with this ticket, you will be able to have Olly do a poster for you. That’s right…. pretty much whatever you want. Like, if you want a SPLASH poster or something…. I’m sure he’ll be down. All I’m saying is that this is your chance to get the Olly piece that you’d always wish he would do. Pretty cool, right?

What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.
A friend of mine is mirroring your move but from the West Coast to Indiana. She will be a librarian at the University of Notre Dame so she is packing everything up and shipping it out to her new place while finishing up her teaching stint and then driving inland. The biggest difference is that she is cat less.

Then she needs to get one or two, but perhaps after the move. Mine were less than impressed when the junk guys hauled off the couch.
Librarian at the University of Notre Dame...Sounds like a terrific opportunity. It's definitely been interesting sorting through the debris of my life. Indiana is going to be a big change, has she lived in the MidWest before?
