Hate to break it to you, Supe, but Magic Mike only cost $7M to Ted's $50M. Estimates put Ted at around $55M for the weekend and Mike at about $41M. The profit margin is clearly in Tatum's favor right now.

Hate to break it to you, Supe, but Magic Mike only cost $7M to Ted's $50M. Estimates put Ted at around $55M for the weekend and Mike at about $41M. The profit margin is clearly in Tatum's favor right now.

Of course Ted was only expected to make half of what was expected and finish behind Magic Mike. Ted is the 1st R Rated comedy to open so strong since the Hangover and will likely do close to $100 million domestic by the time its over.

I do chuckle that a movie featuring 2 male stars many women and some men wanna see in the buff ...finished 2nd to a teddy bear.

Most of 'em don't. You're a funny guy, guy. And for a first-timer, you seemed to have a lot of confidence. It doesn't matter whether you actually did or not, it's the fact that you seemed to that's important.

The recording's a bit shit so I couldn't hear some of it, but what I could hear I liked.

I'm a theatre major, so being on-stage isn't bad, except for the lights being way brighter during stand-up than they are during a show (which I mentioned as an ad-lib). The recording is pretty shoddy thanks to it being recorded by my brother's digital camera, but footy is footy for now.
