Better that then Dad in the hospital or down for 2 weeks and my daughter haven't a cold for our visit to. 7 days with her is better than 9 days with me sick 2 and her sick another 2 to 3.

Of course Ted was only expected to make half of what was expected and finish behind Magic Mike. Ted is the 1st R Rated comedy to open so strong since the Hangover and will likely do close to $100 million domestic by the time its over.

I do chuckle that a movie featuring 2 male stars many women and some men wanna see in the buff ...finished 2nd to a teddy bear.

Don't forget that ,these days, Mila Kunis is a draw for the male audience. I find the adds intriguing and want to catch Ted as well.

I'll watch it when it comes on TV, but I have no higher or lower expectations than an episode of Family Guy (take that as you will).

And yes, Mila's a looker. She's actually a pretty decent actress most of the time and does comedy well.

EDIT: I usually like ol' Marky Mark, too. He's generally fairly convincing, no matter what the role.

So I'm watching this current affairs show about a US militia group. These gys swear blind that they expect civil war or worse within a matter of months. They've each spent tens of thousands of dollars on arms and supplies and have devoted countless hours to firearms training.

And at least half of them are overweight by 60 pounds or more.
