What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere on CBR yet, but still funny.
The older I get, the more life seems to be the stupid, frustrating stuff that gets in the way of you and reading comics- Iron Fist in Defenders 1

It is! I'm wondering, though, if the drowning the words in background music so you can barely hear them was intentional, because I see that WAY too much in movies.

It's kind of funny, according to one of the pros involved with Before Watchmen, DC did offer the rights back to Moore. They just wanted him to do Before Watchmen. He said DC wanted Moore to do three titles, then he and Dave Gibbons would have gotten the rights back.

That would have been interesting. I likely would have still not wanted to read it though.

I'm not even sure it's about the rights anymore (if it ever was). I'm thinking it's more "Y'know, fuck you guys, you're dicks."

I remember reading an interview with Moore years ago where he said he might consider going back to DC if they returned what was "morally" his. So it looks like it was about the rights at one point. But, yeah, I don't think he cares anymore.

Still cashes the royalty checks, though.

Really? I know he did that with the movie money. I didn't know he did it was the book royalties.

I finally realised there's a way to access radio stations at work. It's the next best thing on weekend/night shifts to human contact!
