It's not bad, but it's boring and I don't like the texture.

It's more reptilian than catlike and since when does Catwoman carry a gun instead of a whip?

Why was this so hard to do? Nolan is all about realism, but the Cooke costume seems far more practical. If not it I'd prefer Julie Newmar's outfit with the necklace from the tv show. That was smoking hot too.

Couldn't really take the review seriously, as it isn't like her rant about the character was anything close to a serious review. I can understand why a casual DC reader would be turned off from Wonder Woman though, given the volatile state of the character over the years, and I will agree that DC has rarely had any idea what they've been doing with her since Greg Rucka left. And while her statement that Wonder Woman is "DC's only real woman character" was wrong and obviously hyperbolic (given that she reviewed a book with Zatanna as a lead character in the same video), I do partially agree with her that Marvel is better at making their female characters matter, and I was just making this point to a friend of mine not that long ago. DC might have more female characters carrying their own titles, but in team books, crossovers, etc., the women do tend to get upstaged by their male colleagues (Infinite Crisis, anyone? Final Crisis, anyone?).

You know, now that I think about it, it would have been cool if they went with something plushy for the main costume and then leather for the gloves, mask and boots. Not fur necessarily, but something that's visibly tactile that you'd want to stroke like a cat. Velvet would work.

The women ... and the men ... both get upstaged by Batman. Always.

    Not quite always...

'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
