Looking great, I'm glad the jeans and t-shirt look sticks around when Clark is doing his ground-level work.

Not quite sure where those pages would be in the book, the art is so great though. And I sense a bit of old superman's spirit, GOOD!

Loved what I saw! Never disappointed. I like that can do spirit too. This was missing or rarely seen from the previous Superman.

Now that's the working class hero I always imagined Superman as. Awesome preview. Great to see the golden age spirit modernized in a positive way.

    Looks great.
Metallek - a new villain, interesting.
Superman helping people good and media spinning it as not so good.
And is that the 1st Superman or somebody else in the last panel.
    Rehire Grant Morrison for Superman.
    Give Lois her own BOOKS.
Keep Scott Lobdell in Superverse forever.

Thanks and I found this somewhere :

The Metaleks are weaponized, intelligent construction machines from another world on a mission to “xenoform” our planet, starting with London.

So was he created by Grant? I could not find much. It seems he was there on panel 1 of Bat Inc but nothing after that and the article says he was in B&R but I cannot seem to remember him. H e just seems to be 1 or 2 panel villain till now. The description suggests more a Superman villain than a Bat villain so maybe we will see more now.

The first arc wasn't so great, but I feel like Morrison is doing what he wants to do now. He was told to tell the origin and now he is getting to the grit of a good story.

He's been doing what he's wanted to do from the start. He adores Brainiac as a character, so there's no doubt in my mind that first arc was all him.

    "Bow before the Dale.....hem Metalek!"
No seriously.....Superman fighting a Transformer like vehicule to the deat? Rebuilding a bouilding after a fight? Apparently disguising himself as a worker?
    ......
    I think I'm in love.

Superman still looks a bit too young and scrawny...however, the homage to the Superman story from the Golden Age that had him tearing down slum housing and then rebuilding it isn't lost on me, and Supes fighting a giant robot of some kind is always fun!

    Looking forward to this.

This Metalek guy reminds me of those "robots" that were with the Anti-Superman Army in issue 6, perhaps they are related?

Regarding other matters, this preview looked great. I'm really loving what Morrison is doing with Superman. Superman helping this people by rebuilding those departments is a nice touch. And it looks like DCnU Captain Comet was the guy in the last panel of the preview.
