Doc Ock is coming back already? Or is that a gun and not a tentacle?
Okay, I'm really thinking Frank Castle is about to fight with the Avengers now...
Also, it would make sense to announce it at a Spider-Man panel since Punisher and ASM share Steve Wacker.

Look closely--it's a gun! I thought the same thing at first. But given this and the Iron Man one, I'd say Frank Castle is pissed...

Here's a Black Widow one:

Like I said yesterday, looks like Frank Castle takes the war to the Marvel heroes? Even more sold on that idea since these are done by current Punisher artist Marco Checchetto
Both this and the Black Widow teasers use the red font. Yeah, the colors mean nothing more than to match with the hero the teaser is for.
I'm guessing Hawkeye and Hulk are next.
I would love for Castle to "thin the herd" of redundant and pointless heroes and villais in a blaze of glory. The MU needs trimmed
Has Punisher been setting up something like this? Granted, the solicit for Punisher #16 does say "Prepare for the War Zone," but why would Frank fight the Avengers?
Someone in another thread thought that the color of the text meant something and after Iron Man I thought they were on to something (2 yellow and 2 blue) but this is red so I guess it just matches the hero's color scheme.

It'd be awesome if it was Frankencastle beating up on Thor and Iron Man.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

Soooo, is Frank going after Supercrime? Maybe they assassinate Cole-Alves and Frank is all, "Everyone dies." Just goes batshit on Supercrime. And the Avengers have to stop him before he gets out of hand.

The Amazing Spider-Man panel is often used as the "Stephen Wacker Panel", and anything that falls under his editing prowess usually gets announced there, including Daredevil, Captain Marvel and yes, Punisher.
I'd read Punisher Academy. No joke.
