Default Time for another Mutant Massacre?

I started reading X-Books back around 1986 or so. I've stopped and started a couple of times since then, though, so I'm not sure exactly who a bunch of people are (Fantomex, the old dude who wears all white, etc.). But is it time for another Mutant Massacre? Of the (what seems like) dozen different X-Books, I have a hard as hell time keeping up who is who. I mean really cut down their numbers - killing a bunch off.

I'd REALLY like to see their ranks thinned out. Permanently.

the second Mutant Massacre was called M-Day and it's been a pain in the ass for X-Fan's since 2005.

I like to see more characters fill the books. X-Force and Adjectiveless are playing too safe, they should get 4 extra characters in the next few months each.

You're trolling right? The Mutant Massacre was nothing compared Decimation.

Nope, not a joke. Maybe you're right - I'm lobbying for 15-20 members of each X-Team....

Oh wait, we already have that...

    Ah, missed Decimation.

Point is - I partially agree with the Scarlet Witch - just change it to "Fewer Mutants" (which, ironically, is what happened when she asked for no more mutants)...

That was a very, very silly thing to say.

One, single book has an active cast in the double figures - X-Factor. It handles it's large cast very well.

Wolverine & the X-Men / Legacy have a large supporting cast, but they're just that - a chorus.

There aren't even enough mutants to put 15-20 members on each team...

Funny, I'm re-reading House of M as we speak actually. Just got to Decimation on Lunch~

I get what you're saying. Especially with some of the younger mutants. And now most of the surviving mutants are bunched into Utopia so it may seem that there are more mutants than ever. Every now and then a character will be in an X-uniform and I won't know who the hell it is or how I've missed them being around for so long. But that being said, Decimation got rid of a BUNCH of them already.

I re-read Kyos't New X-men 2 weeks ago. It was even more depressing than the first time.

Man you’ve said it. The stories just suck. We’ve gone from a new species of people trying to fighting humans and amongst themselves for supremacy. To, poor us/Scott Summers show. It just makes me want to cry.
