    The funny thing is...if they use that version,it would be more difficult for DC to use Darkseid in a movie without many people(who are not comic book readers) saying that he is a Thanos rip-off.Ultimate Thanos is more close to Darkseid than his 616 counterpart.

    Thanos=Darkseid

    Tesseract=Anti-Life Equation

    Acheron=Apokalips

    Ronan the Accuser=Kaliban

    etc.

    That costume is crap , thankfully , what little we seen from thanos in the movie was his classic costume as we saw the big ass shoulder blades as he turned to face the camera.

    I think Marvel will use 616 Thanos look,but Ultimate Thanos story and characterization(or parts of it).

    I thought the first 15 issues (roughly) of the Warlock and the Infinity Watch series were pretty good. They serve as an epilogue to Gauntlet and then tell stories alongside and as an overlap to Infinity War (which was also pretty good, to my mind, though some disagree). Infinity Crusade was horrific as was most of the rest of the Infinity Watch series. Regardless, at the time the book was heavily, heavily overprinted, and you should be able to find any of those issues fairly easily either online or in dollar bins of big comic book stores.

    Thor 2 could end with Loki betraying asgard again, taking the gauntlet and giving it to Thanos.

    An article in Latin Review mentions that a Guardians of the Galaxy movie might take place in 2014, and the Avengers teaser was setting up for both that and Guardians.

    That might be kinda cool. Getting Thanos in 2 movies.

    I'm only familiar with the original Magus saga and missed Warlock in the 90's. Hadn't realized until recently, how Warlock was in the center of the Marvel "event" goings on back then, and is a fairly well known Marvel character, now, as a result.

    I thought the handling of the character by DnA in the last Guardians series was atrocious. What were they thinking?? IMO, they ruined a great character by making a Magus that acted like the Joker. It was pretty ridiculous.

    I wouldn't mind seeing a "New 52" Marvel Universe with a new Warlock. If i was marvel, i'd put him back in his original costume. I think Starlin initially wanted to make him look like Dracula when he changed his costume and gave him a cape in the 70's. A soul sucking vampire type. After that, he turned into more of a Dr. Strange type. I think the more traditional super powered Warlock without the magic is the way to go. His origin is one of the best in comics, i think. Warlock is my favorite character next to Swamp Thing.

    From what little i've seen on the internet, Infinity War seems to be a little bit on the silly side, while Infinity Gauntlet was all serious without light moments? I like the Magus, so i was thinking about getting it, but the slight silliness at times that Ron Lim's art helped to accentuate, kept me from ordering the TPB. Plus, the issues are reprinted out of order, and the reviews say that you have to flip around to read it. A corrected version would be better. At almost $20, it's not cheap, too. Maybe ill order it later, but a corrected version would be better, i think. What i'd really like is an essential Infinity that reprints all three events and all the tie in issues. I think if Marvel did that, it would be great, with Thanos, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 2 in the hype for the next few years.
