In my opinion these teasers will have nothing to do with the Avengers. They are simply using recognisable characters to boost interest in a new Punisher book.

As such, when the books drops what we will get will just be the usual sort of Punisher book, with him taking on organised crime, Kingpin, Hobgoblin, Crime Master etc. and not him going against the Avengers at all.

All the teasers mean is the idea that Punisher, unlike the majority of heroes, isn't against killing and will take out anyone who gets in his way.

So this is just another reboot of War Journal, again?

i would buy that. they have similar origins anyway. he already strikes fear in the criminal world. he's just not afraid of using guns. bring in the punishmobile and the punishwing. and he should definitely have a punishcave. he and cap would be calling each other by their real names all the time. he's already somewhat a good strategist although not as good as batman
