I'm sure there will be deluxe editions once we get through some more issues. However, this is one of the best comics out there. The first trade is only $9.99, so you might as well jump on in with that.

i love Image's Deluxe Edition so i always skip issues or trades and wait for DE.

Don't think I could wait a year (at least - probably a bit more with the hiatuses) for this series. I bought the first TPB (fantastic!) and I'll buy the next ones as they come out.

Then the Deluxe Editions too, of course. The TPBs will go to some friend.

I have a good mind of doing the same for Morning Glories starting with the third TPB (first HC already on the way).

RE: Issue #7 - I’m happy Izabel isn’t gone. Unfortunately The Stalk is, but from the looks of it we’ll be seeing more of her (in flashbacks, or whatever capacity) in the future.

And yes, the ogre/giant was revolting.

Izabel is my favourite Saga character, and the competition is tough.

How fast does Image release Deluxe Editions, generally speaking?

It's an interesting story. Instead of wondering what happens, BKV tells us what happens and leaves us to wonder how it will end up that way or what the result will be. Case in point the end of #6. That ending wouldn't of been as powerful or as thought provoking if it weren't for the line "And then my grandparents lived with us". It's intriguing and rather refreshing.

In shorter words, BKV is giving us the destination but leaving the journey a mystery.

How fast does Image release Deluxe Editions, generally speaking?

Chew got one around the 13th issue, so should be popping up in the Image solicits in a few months.

Thanx! Good to see that Image is quick to make Deluxe editions. I was afraid of the DC effect, were it takes forever for most books to be collected.

And since this is one of their flagship titles it should be released fairly quickly
