Marvel has released Salvador Larroca's variant cover for "X-Treme X-Men" #1 written by Greg Pak featuring alternate reality versions of Wolverine, Emma Frost and Nightcrawler locked, loaded and ready for battle.

I was looking forward to this but then I noticed they already have a different artist by #4. Sod it if Marvel can't invest the time and effort to keep a book consistent I can't invest the cash and time to read it.

This is actually a pretty decent cover, I like his Emma here. And Segovia art is probably the only thing that would cause me to buy this book.

ikr? His Emma Frost was well done, and I applaud his choice to not over do the Emma's breast size, like so many comic artists do with female comic book characters.

Noting they mention 'one of the X-men' lost between realities....Is this referring to Dazzler? Or is it the return of any characters left over from the Exiles stories...like isn't that the last time we saw Sage?

I really could not care less about any of those alt!characters. I want AoA Blink and Nocturne back. I'll only be reading it because of Dazzler.

Larroca's Emma just looks like adult Emma in street clothing, which is... weird. I do love his Tom Selleck Wolverine, though.

I also noticed this. I believe she is only on one so far. I also noticed that she is barely in most of the issue plot descriptions.

It's supposed to be Teenage alt!Emma, but there you go - the weirdly adult Emma face has claimed it's first wtf.
