"Meanwhile, one year after the destruction of Genosha..."
On that list? Not even close....the Magneto/Rogue deal turned this board upside down and turned a writer like Mike Carey, who Rogue fans worshipped, into a guy they started lumping in with Fraction and Bendis types. But in the end, we learned they weren't Rogue fans but just jealous Gambit fans that couldn't take the fact that the superior mutant was chosen by Rogue, even though she had been doing that for years.
Not to mention the Xorneto stuff...it's not even close.
I vote Cyclops, but I can understand Wolverine being in that conversation as well. Cyclops is the one who has put together this whole plan that brought mutants to Utopia. He's the one who put his unflinching faith in Hope Summers. He's the one that made the fateful decision that led to the Schism between the X-men. In that time he's had fans either love him or hate him. There's very little middle ground with this character. And because of that, I think he'll get fans arguing more vehemently than any other character. Wolverine may be a close second, but I don't think what he's done has surprised too many people. It's Cyclops who has had to assume the leadership roles. It's Cyclops who will be vindicated or broken by AvX.

Unless of course you're a huge Wolverine fan who sees him and all of his actions through a ruby-quartz visor, in which case we'll just agree to disagree.
