Default Bat-titles shipping Wednesday, June 27

These are the bat-titles that Diamond has announced are shipping this week. Clicking on a link will take you to the DC Comics site for cover art, creative team and story summary.

    Batman, Incorporated #2
Batman: Illustrated by Neal Adams Vol. 1 TP
    Batman: The Dark Knight #10
Gotham City Sirens: Strange Fruit TP

These "sorta" Batman titles will also ship: All-Star Western #10, Teen Titans #10, and Justice League #10.

Important: This is the issue of Dark Knight in which Gregg Hurwitz takes over as writer. (Translation: You need to pick it up.)

I'll be getting Batman Inc., Dark Knight, All-Star Western, and Justice League.

I'm really excited for The Dark Knight. Very interested to see how much that title gets elevated in terms of writing.

I may pick up Inc. I enjoyed the last issue. Plus there's an minute possibility that Cass could... nah. But more Outsiders is good. Maybe even Grace or Black Lightning!

Inc and Dark Knight to try out the new writer. Also Justice League, Flash, Aquaman, Ame-Comi, and Legends of the Dark Knight.

You should include the digital stuff in the OP. Even though they literally don't come out on Wednesdays, they're still Batman comics coming out that week, which I think is the greater purpose of the thread.

I'm getting Inc, TDK, Ame-Comi Batgirl, and Legends of the Dark Knight.

It's truly a great time to be a fan of the Batfamily.

As to the question on adding the digital chapters to this list, does anyone know of a place that posts solicits for the digital comics?

This page lists that the Ame-Comi chapters come out on Mondays, the Arkham chapters are released on Tuesdays, Beyond on Wednesday and LOTDK on Thursday but as far as I can tell they don't release any information about the new chapters until the day they come out though I could be wrong.

I believe you're right, Guardian. As far as I know, the equivalent information simply isn't available. Of course, it seems to be DC's policy to eventually make all of this material available in print format, so the print editions will eventually show up here.

On a practical level, I'm not sure the two formats readily mix into a single thread. The "digital first" titles technically don't "ship," and most don't come out on Wednesday.

On that level I suppose it doesn't fit, though part of me still enjoys sharing what Bat-titles I've picked up regardless of the day they come out. It's why I love these threads, it reminds me of how when I as a kid my friends and I would(despite going to the store together) all buy our comics in secret and then share what we got when we were back at one of our houses or our fort.

There's just a child like glee I get when I compare my purchases to others even to this day.

Oh, people can list whatever they want. Some even list non-bat titles, and I'm fine with that.

All Star Western for me. And I guess Batman will be somewhere in Justice League. Or not.
    Pull list:
Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Worlds' Finest, My Little Pony, Sword of Sorcery, The Flash, Animal Man, Birds of Prey, Lone Ranger

It'll be interesting to see what they do on Tuesdays following next week, when Arkham City End Game ends. I don't think they can keep milking Arkham City that much more, unless they do stuff set after Harley Quinn's Revenge.

INC, TDK, Titans. Should be a good week. Assuming INC is awesome, TDK lives up to the hype and Titans stops sucking post Culling.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

Inc is an absolute must for me.

Who's this new writer on Dark Knight and why should I care?
