Now I am far from being a fan of all this Vampire shit we have been force fed over the last decade or so. But I think introducing a vampire like threat would be an interesting twist to what I feel is becoming a little bit monotonous within this series.
While Vampires are cool I think that if they were to introduce something that looked more human but is impervious to a zombies and may or may not have a conscience.
If say a doctor started to develop a cure and the failed but the outcome was a person who may have been bit but hasn't made the full transformation to a walker could be given this treatment and what we find out is it brings back your loved one or ally but it leaves them with not a full on taste of flesh but warm blood. And the way the ones with a conscience can control it is walkers that have already been killed but still have blood as obviously they are immune to it. However a twist within that is the zombie blood drives them insane which is the explanation for the people who are B-Suckers but seemingly don't have a conscience.
I think this could be pretty cool. But I doubt it would happen. Like I said before I am not a big fan of Vampires or Zombies really. But this comic/show has got me hooked because it's clearly not completely about just the Walkers but it is about the humanity in the people.
Ha, I gotta say while I've heard about vampires being in, I don't feel like it's really been that much, and I could use more. Especially since a lot of it doesn't interest me, like Twilight. I say keep throwing vampires into the mix, maybe it'll work.
As for Walking Dead in particular, it is an interesting idea, but it'd be such a major change I think many would consider it a shark jumping moment, though it could be well done.
