Yes but Peter Parker was and they are his clone. Just like Gwen was killed and now she is a clone.

Speaking of the clones, Is it just me or since Gwen is a clone from carnage, and carnage was made from peter, does that mean Gwen is somehow a clone of peter? Would she have his genetics mixed with her original self? Also I thought Norman died at the end right before pre ultimatum? Also on a personal note, I thought the death of spider-man was good, but not great.

According to the comic she is literally the exact same person down to the cells. No Peter gene's. Yes, Norman dies at the end of the Death of a Goblin arc.

Yeah people can die and come back.. but what I'm saying is for the most part, that only happens when the death is being used as part of a story that involves an eventual resurrection and it's considered a big deal that the character came back from the dead. In the 616 characters can literally blow their own heads off and come back as soon as another writer decides they want to use the character.
