When will the P5 restart/repower the mutant race?

I was sitting here thinking and it dawned on me that the P5 have not helped the mutant race at all. Cyke big reason for helping/training Hope was to have her save the mutant race with the aid of the Pheonix Force.

Now that the P5 possesse the Phoenix Force shouldn't restarting/repowering mutants be their first order of business? Why are they waiting? Shouldn't the power of the Pheonix be enough to undo Wanada's "No More Mutants". Do I sense a sub-plot?

According to Brevoort only Hope can do that. It's lame that Cyclops didn't address it in the most recent issue.

Cyclops or less likely Emma are probably going to try and forcefully turn humans into mutants in Act 3.

Because the last time it happened, there had to be six of them - the Messiah, plus the 5.

Hope isn't ready for such a responsibility.

In the meantime, the P5 decide to make the world a better place for everybody so when the mutants return, maybe mankind will be more accepting

I don't get why everybody has to bitch about the P5's use of their powers. They're not using it selfishly to immediately restore the mutants. They're doing everybody a favor and helping anybody they can. Humans, the Avengers, the poor villains that got contained.

...it'd be cool if the comic book characters can turn to the writers who write what they say and tell them, "Hey, dumb ass. The readers said that I said this and I still haven't done anything that supports that statement you wrote that I have no real input in. What the f8ck? Quick, before they start trashing you on the message boards." Oh, that's right. They can't.

The writers ignored it and we're left to blame the characters because we aren't able to relay our thoughts and complaints to live human beings. Or can we???
