Loving all the preview art...so excited for all these books. The Archer and Armstrong covers are awesome, too. Ahhhhh, I love Valiant!

I hope the Neal Adams variant for A&A is the pullbox and getable.

They'll get to them. The interview mentions two more comics might be coming by the end of the year, with a third a few months after than, and then a fourth.... I'd say it's a good bet Eternal Warrior at least is one of the "second-wave" of Valiant titles.

I think Eternal Warrior and Time Walker will be in A&A #1, I think I remember an interview where Van Lente stated it. Who knows maybe we will even get a Geomancer.

What a great interview with the Valiant crew! These guys all seem really awesome and they have me really excited for all the books they will be putting out. Their passion is infectious!!

I can't wait to see what two other titles will be coming out by years end... I'm hoping the one will be Ninjak!!

I'm impressed by both the quality and their game-plan. Instead of flooding the market they are doing a slow-build that gives the readers an opportunity to jump in on the ground floor and pick-and-choose what they like based on quality and interests. I'm not an Archer & AArmstrong fan even though I have a lot of the original run. Ninjak would be a damn-nice book. I just wonder do they have the rights for Solar, Magnus Turok or are those still being leased by Shooter? I'd love to see another Rai series. The cool characters are the ones I'm most interested in. I liked the original Harbinger but was greatly impressed by this new version. The art is much better here and still has that space so you aren't crowded by needless word-balloons or narroration but still the stories are perfectly paced. Harbinger stood out even more than X-O imo as being a huge surprise. I loved the original X-O and liked the original Harbinger but I think Harbinger stole the show here. I'd like to see a title like Armorines given a chance and greatly improved upon. I loved the idea the first time around but the execution of it wasn't equal to the good idea they originally had.

Bloodshot is another of my favorite Valiant titles. I KNOW I'm gonna love it. The art just blows me away and I can tell this version of Valiant is trying their best to have high quality all around. Titles I hope they do (not knowing if they own or leased all the rights) - Solar, Magnus, Ninjak (looks real likely), Turok, Armorines, Rai and H.A.R.D. Corps.

In response to a few posts on this thread:

    1) the Neal Adams variant is a 1:100 line wide variant. That means for every 100 Valiant books ordered (no matter which titles) you get one...could be easier to find than the 1:50 talking covers.

    2) Eternal Warrior in Winter 2012 and Rai in Spring 2013 were teased in the Valiant FCBD book, so look for those to be the next two books from Valiant.

    3) Solar, Magnus and Turok are owned by a publishing company (I forget which one right now) who own the Gold Key characters and library. They were most recently licensed to Dark Horse, who published some mediocre versions about a year ago under Jim Shooter, but have since ceased publication of them and cancelled all the books. There has been no confirmation if they still hold the license or not, but it is unlikely Valiant looks to purchase them any time soon and maybe never unless they could buy them out-right. Too expensive and the owners want too much say in creative.

It is so fresh to read a so optimistic interview!!!! Valiant is doing its best to retake its place among the best comic books publishers. It will be a hard and long way, but it is launched and nothing can stop Valiant to reach its main objectives.

What its forces are: a true retailers relationship, a true strong background researches for these characters reboots, strong fans bases among the retailers and the readers, dynamic and responsible top heads. And almost all, excellent stories to tell with wonderful characters!!!

    Go Valiant, go!!

I was either a baby or not born when all the Valiant comics originally came out, but, man, I'm loving this reboot. These guys sure know how to make some killer comics and how to market them. I wish them all the luck in the world, though it doesn't really seem like they need it.
