The Youtube video wasn't posted by one of the kids, it was posted by someone else who saw it on facebook and was appalled. I don't know who took the original video and posted it to facebook.

What really depresses me is that the Greece police have had to put police protection on all 4 families of the bullies, due to threats to all family members, including the bully's siblings. Just as the money being raised for Karen is a wonderful response, bullying the bullies is a horrible and stupid response. And bullying the other family members? Beyond the pale.

That is indeed sad. Threatening innocent uninvolved family members of the kids who did this so completely and utterly misses the point and so completely and utterly typical. Completely pathetic.

No wonder why bullying is still a problem. It's amazing how the same incident can bring out the best and worst of humanity at the same time.

I think he was responding to the idea that the bullies should be thanked because thanks to their act of cruelty, their victim now has a lot of money. I can't assume, but I think it's reasonable to imagine she'd be equally happy, if not happier, with not having been cruelly mocked and having her moment of humiliation posted on the internet for millions to see.

Definitely. Even threatening the kids themselves is stupid and pointless. What they did was wrong and they should be punished - punished in the proper way, not by having to hide in their homes as they're inundated with death threats from idiotic strangers - but the kids are kind of beside the point. They aren't the problem, that they thought it was okay to conduct themselves in such a manner is the problem. Only a complete moron would think that threatening to kill them or their family is any kind of solution.

You'd be correct. It's from Fox News, so I really shouldn't have expected better.

I hear that "Money Makes Everything Okay" was one of the slogans they considered before settling on, "Fair and Balanced."

The smartest people do the dumbest things on the largest scale imaginable--because they have the capacity to do them more sophisticated than run of the mill dumb.

those insults werent dumb they were rather clever.

EDIT: Thank you FOX news for proving my point. A bunch of college educated Journalists.

I normally do. The last time I donated to humans was for the earthquake in Japan last year. Though I only did that because to donate you could use funds on PSN from PS3. Plus they make all my video games is the main reason I did it. Other wise Id rather help a starving animal then a human.
