Deadpool: Really, you sure? Coz I kinda had a healthy dose of respect for you before just cause you got rocket-powered farting powers.

"I"m glad people helped her to get a vacation, but $300,000!? c'mon people there are starving children in the world that need your money more. Don't get me wrong here, I feel awful for her and was glad when she had like 50K, but i think from now on maybe give your money to a real cause." Pretty much agree with that YT comment.

Lol, there's no reason to ruin things. You can donate to a more worthy cause without telling other causes off or bragging.

and perhaps now she can retire and not deal with the little bastards anymore.
What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.

It's true that there are more worthy causes, but the footage leaves people so moved that donating money was an immediate, visceral reaction with a lot of people.

SO it isnt just the internet.

I wonder if civility would be the norm..if every outrageous post was shown in times square with the persons real name and address.

I don't. Yes there are more worthy causes and you've no reason to believe the people donating here don't donate to other causes as well. I wonder, why do I think that I wouldn't be wrong in assuming the commenter in question hasn't donated to any of these worthier causes?

No. That's ridiculous. People donate anonymously and these kids hurt this lady in person.

And were so impressed with themselves they posted the video online.

Of course, could be these kids are so dumb they actually thought doing that would have no larger consequences. That wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact, it would cheer me up immensely. I'd hate to think kids with any intelligence would act like that.

Yes, these kids should be punished in a meaningful way -- perhaps we can start by forfeiting their right to ride the bus. Perhaps they should read all of the comments made on the website and elsewhere in response to their behavior and be forced to publish a public response of their own. Mostly though, I think that a word of thanks is more appropriate than typical punishment.
    What a fucking douche.
