Yup, Gillen just rolls along. It seems like, for Otherworld's deities at least, they are partly dependent on faith to stay relevant and with the industrialization of Britain, they are becoming more and more anachronistic. While most other pantheons have faded into obscurity, we don't know yet of other examples of technological gods taking their place.

I don’t know how the other pantheons “work” in the M.U. The Manchester Gods have appeared because Otherworld’s shaped in part by the British collective subconscious, so if other realms have the same connection it’s possible.

So the Gods’ figurehead is based on Tony Wilson and one of their “places of power” is the Hacienda club. Ha, top one, nice one, sorted. A “New Order” in Otherworld indeed.

    It's a good read!
It's funny how he admits it's all a bit of a jokey piss take, and while it definitely is different, I'm glad he can admit that he's doing it.
