I still want ron pearlman from fallout to get in a fight with snake from MGS4 so we can find out if war changes or not.

    Parts looks like The Raid.
You are aware that Dredd was written in 2008 and was put into production in 2009, right? The Raid went into production in 2010.

Yeah, that's cool, but it looks like The Raid.

Having read the synopsys of 'The Raid', I'd say it sounds a lot like a any number of films and comics from the last 30 or so years, probably including a couple starring Judge Dredd.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

More accurately, The Raid looks like Judge Dredd, since it went into production after Dredd.

Except The Raid came out, and people don't really pay attention to when films went into production.
So it looks like The Raid.
Also, fairly certain the indoneseans who made the movie weren't on set or...in the computer room i guess, to see them making Judge Dredd.
It doesn't matter in the end though, since i don't know how many people even saw it.

    Not many.

I already said they both remind me of La Horde, except those people have to go top down. none of these are wholly original ideas.

Looks pretty cool. I'm liking Urban's scowl and growl.

I like Urban, never read Judge Dredd though (always Slaine when it came to 2000 A.D..)

This looks like it could be good, will wait to see more before I pass judgment.

According to evil Wiki the movie was announced in 08. Announcing the movie doesnt mean anything is done.
The money didnt start coming in till May 2010 and PRE-production didnt start till August 23 of that year.
    So yeah.

Every movie rips off every other movie these days anyway - does it really matter of Dredd is similar to The Raid or not as long as its a good movie?
Eh, Comics is a pretty cool guy...

Hell, a larger number of movies than people would think are remakes (within one or two years) of foreign language films. Japan seems to be a favorite place to get films to give an american remake spin to. It's sad because from what I have read, the original films are MUCH better than the american remakes for the most part.

No, La Horde is just a movie based on the first part of Dawn of the Dead.
