Were they already gods-given superpowers in the golden age, or the product of training?

AFAIK in the Golden Age all the powers were the result of training. This was a big deal, because other Amazons had similar powers, and women not from Paradise Island might acquire similar ones to some extent. I think divine gifts were first mentioned in Kanigher's Silver Age retelling of the origin.

Marston's Wonder Woman 1 implies divine gifts, but later they seem to get forgotten until Kanigher.

Aww little Wonder Tot is so cute. It looks like Wonder Woman has been a tree hugger for a long time.

Which was used first has nothing to do with my point, which was just that the 2 abilities seem similar.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

Well, at age 3, how much training could she have gotten? Gods it is.
