lol what a fiasco. The Pryor-Summers wedding went off flawlessly. Jewels from Van Cleef & Arpels, gown by Halston.

That dress DESERVES to be burned. Apocalypse: fashion police. He should have ended the issue by bestowing on her a more fitting gown.

Parts of it look techno-organic. Maybe the plan was to bond the dress to her body permanently.

Maybe Jean is upset that Cyke is gripping her left hand so hard it's turning blue.

That is a very shitty dress. It's a better world it never happened with her in that.

Jean is on actual fire, and Iceman, with the ability to make it cold and douse the flames just stands there, is my other thought.

At least put the goddamn bear out, Bobby!

What do you all think of Jean's shitty dress and burning teddy bear?
I like the cape she's sporting.

Obvious flaws aside, this looks really intriguing, and more interesting than the relatively boring wedding they did have. I assume the teddy bear had something to do with baby Chris/Nate? It seems kind of wrong that the wedding wasn't allowed to take place in X-Factor since that's where the 05 had been for many years at that point, it was their book.

I wonder what the teddy bear was meant to symbolize. It seems to be put there very pointedly. Does the artist relate the teddy bear to a personal tragedy? Was there a scene with Nathan Christopher being abducted, and they merely find a flaming teddy bear and possibly an empty crib in his stead? Is it simply the continued cluelessness artists at the time had about what people wear or own outside of their uniforms and superhero gadgetry?

Perhaps CBR can look into it for one of their features.
