Personally I think if a writer is going to use that kind of statement as the resolution for his 10-issue story, he should give us a little foreshowing to back it up. Does his Diana approach everyone from a position of love, even to start with? Read over her conversation with Strife - do you come away thinking "even though Strife has caused terrible trouble, we can still tell that Diana loves her," or "Diana primarily dislikes Strife quite a lot, for perfectly understandable reasons"?

I don't come away believing that this Diana "loves everybody," just because the writer has her announce it in one panel.
You can dislike the way a person acts and still love them, bizaare as that may seem. See Thor's relationship with Loki in Avengers. Even after he has killed innocent people Thor is still pleading with him to surrender and be his brother again, while at the same time fighting him to make him stop.

And then that's compounded by Aleka scapegoating her for deaths that she didn't cause. At the time, I think many posters were surprised that Diana was ready to reconcile so soon (by the end of #4).
Personally I had a hard time being moved by that scene since it was built on what I found an awful premise. Plus I had seen Diana's tearful parting with her mother done before and better IMO.

That aside, I think the reason she 'reconciled' so quickly was the shock of seeing what had happened. Had the event with Hera not occured the discussion with her mother would, at the very least, have been less onsided.

I had an issue with issue (pun?) #10, though.

    It should be like this:

    Not this:

    Wonder Woman loves you too.

To be fair, she was kind of throwing a tantrum there. Everyone has bad moments.

My problem is this: overall, Heph has demonstrated more love and wisdom than Diana has through the whole arc.

And her insistence on not being helped just looks like petulance after a while. Oh excuse me for pulling you from hades' mouth. You didn't look like you were doing anything to get yourself out, except making a face like the evil queen from snow white (ugh! Diana should never look like the evil queen unless she were possessed by some evil spirit)

Her insistence on not being helped in "her fight" was proposital, to show she wants do to things for herself when it comes to her. She accepts help to protect Zola, to try and free Heph's workers, to "blind" Hera and prevent an war between Poseidon and Hades (which is kind of weird, Poseidon and Hades just giving up). But when it comes to her own safe, she wants to be independent. Is it not one of the things she represents, female autonomy?
