Astonishing X-Men #51 *Spoilers*

-Kyle and the X-men are freed from Karma's mind control.
-Kyle decides life is too short and to accept Northstar's marriage proposal.
-Warbird was the one not attending the wedding.
-There was a comment about possible trouble with X-men and Avengers attending the wedding together
-X-23 and Jubilee sighted.
-Rogue wonders if things would have been better if her mothers married.
-Wolverine flirts with Storm, then leaves the wedding.
-He has stomach problems, sees Karma behind a tree, and then his stomach explodes.

Maybe we'll find out what this book is about now the wedding is over.

I liked the Jubilee cameo. Everything else... eh, I don't like Kyle and I don't care about this wedding so all that was quite boring. I can't wait to see more Karma next issue.

Marvel has had a sad unfortunate history with gay characters, even if by mere coincidence

I am happy and applaud this time around, Northstar got married instead of killed across two dimensions in a span of two weeks

Specially, since thank God, AT LEAST IT IS NOT A COMING OUT STORY

Considering this is an X-Book I think that was a sweet moment to catch
Specially considering wolverine whom
1st) Mystique has always been hurling her boobs at. So it was nice that they remembered she is the oldest lesbian in the marvel universe
2nd) Wolverine killed Northstar in Enemy of the State.

Well that reason wasn't because they couldn't get married, especially since Mystique could be a man anytime she wanted.

Best possible ending to any wedding ever.

I thought Warbird not attending was kind of a cop-out, tbh. At least explain why the freakin' alien has an issue with this - does she not believe two guys should be mated, does she object to PCs marrying NPCs, is it a warrior-caste thing, what? Useless character is useless. Leave her to Aaron and let us have Marrow as our abrasive, bad-ass woman warrior. Also, please, like Northstar is going to give a crap if the bird-lady he's known for five minutes attends or not. I'm surprised she even got an invite.

Other than that, I enjoyed the issue. It was sweet, I liked the twins interacting, I dug Bobby's snark throughout, good crop of cameos. And our next arc looks to be Karma-centric. Very on board with this.

But more importantly why would JP even give a damn? He doesn't even work at the school, so how long has he known her? 10 days? Who cares if she attends or not, I'm still surprised she was invited.
