Hmmm I wonder what 'editorial' has planned for Manhunter.. Possibly a member of the new 'JL' that we've heard rumors of?

Whenever I read a book with Midnighter, he gives off a completely different voice from Batman. I think the similarities between the two at this point are superficial.

Really starting to like this book. The first half of the series was pretty lacklustre, but it's looking like Peter Milligan will be steering the book in a more exciting direction. Plus I was really impressed with the new art team (Calero and Parsons) on the last issue -- a bit grittier and not as 'polished' as Sepulveda's style but I loved it.
Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present.

That's because you don't hear Midnighter's voice as Kevin Conroy, as we all should

IMO, it would be nice to see more wildstorm alum. Jackson King would be nice. Also a fan of Winter.

Ellis's Stormwatch had a really nice cast. Winter, Fahrenheit, Hellstrike, Fuji, etc.

Yeah although mIght need new females as well which is abut harder. For a DC character option the female dr. Light would work well

I'm hoping for something much much bigger. I really want a solo and to find out what the heroes aren't ready for.

"With the characters now un-married as part of DC's New 52 continuity reboot, Milligan told CBR News that while the their sexuality will be explored in future issues, for now his focus is on establishing the core group while integrating new members -- it has already been announced that the Martian Manhunter quits the team in "Stormwatch" #12 this August in an issue illustrated by Ignacio Calero. "

Was anyone else dismayed by the reporter's use of "sexuality" instead of "relationship"? If it had been a heterosexual couple the word sexuality would not have been used. Unless, of course, the book plans to go in a pornographic direction.....

Milligan is doing just fine. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for his books.

tempted to check this out again. It just didn't live up to the hype I had for it after #2 and #3, so I stopped reading after that.

...but will I have missed anything important in #4-#11?
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

I'm more dismayed by the fact that A&M have gone from a happily married couple who happen to share a gender to heroes whose sexual preference needs to be "explored". I consider it a step backwards.

That and their ridiculous new costumes. I still can't get over the chin spike. :D

I agree about the costumes, in general, and that damned spike, in-particular.
