It almost sounds like a new start with the Nightwing title. Which i get, 1-9 he was trying to keep up with the Owls story, and now he's going to start doing his own thing. All in all im liking the sound of things. This Paragon and his Republic of Tomorrow sounds pretty interesting. Plus Paragon looks cool. Which is right there is already a step up from Saiko IMO. Also Sonia Zucco is coming back, cool

Also so Barrows is having some health issues, and Andres Guinaldo is doing issues #11 and #12. Can't say im too thrilled about that, but hopefully that will give him the breather he needs.

I still have my hesitations about how Bruce and Dick's relationship will be played moving forward, but I do like the idea that Haly's will play a part in Dick's attempts at helping Gotham. I don't think enough writers get into the way Dick's "people pleaser" personality comes from being an entertainer, and thus it makes sense that he'd use it to help make the world better in some way.

Wonder if people will get off of Barrows' back now knowing that health issues were the reasons for fill-ins. Some people act like artists are robots who're suppose to churn out art on the regular without vacation time or sick days.
Kurt Busiek has joked about this. People are concerned that he's been sick. But the minute he's healthy, it'll be "write more Astro City you typewriter monkey"

I wasn't a big fan of the whole Court of Owls thing, so I took a step back from the Bat-world while it played out. After reading this interview I'm definitely going to pick up Nightwing and see how this reads. I'm hoping for some serious Nightwing bad-assery in the coming months.

Well he's already the owner, so I was thinking something he could do for Gotham that would be unique to him would be to put on pro bono shows for the poor to brighten their days and charity shows. I get the sense that might be where Higgins is headed with this but I'm not sure.
