Wouldn't it be cool to see what George Lucas could come up with for a Spider-Man story?

Um...no. Sorry, but Lucas had one good solo film and that was A New Hope.
Well, we already have Charlie Cooper as Jar Jar Binks.
American Graffiti was pretty good.
But Lucas does seem like a poor fit, as his stuff has usually been retro, covering eras preceding the creation of Spider-Man. Star Wars was inspired by 1930s Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon serials. Indiana Jones was set in the 1930s, and inspired by other serials Lucas and Spielberg watched growing up.
American Graffiti was about a teen growing up in the 50s.
Red Tails, his latest passion project, was about World War 2 pilots.

The world was blessedly free of honest men and wonderfully full of people who believed they could tell the difference between an honest man and a crook. -Terry Pratchett
It's not a troll post, I'm thinking that Lucas is a master of mythic storytelling and Spider-Man is a strong myth in America right now anthropologically speaking. It would be interesting to me to see what he would do. We'd probably all agree whatever it would be would be better than the Star Wars prequels.
PS your post was mildly offensive to me Earmites, I'd appreciate it if you updated your signature.

I'm just kidding you don't have to update your signature, it was a genuine question though.
Lucas is not a master of any form of storytelling other than bad storytelling. Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were written by other people and A New Hope had considerable input from the likes of Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Spielberg, as well as a few uncredited writers.
