Shouldn't be a big deal. Most participants submit draft lists anyway so they don't have to be online during it.
Out of interest, I've seen the draft list, and I know it's the "Avengers League"... so is the criteria for characters on the list simply that they must have appeared in an Avengers comic / been in an Avengers team?
Or is it a little bit less strict than that? i.e. "They could be friends with an Avenger or have been in a comic with an Avenger, even though it wasn't specifically an Avenger title".
I'm not FULLY familiar with EVERY character who has ever been an Avenger, so was just curious.

You send in your draft list to mattbib once with backups and things like that, in case someone takes your pick. It's the strategy you have to send in after each round.

bitches please. I think everyone supporting the X-Men in the current AvX war should be disqualified from this time-honored battle. In fact I put forth the motion that we stop this right now and just grant me the title again for I see my competitors are laughable and not up to the task.
it's like this: You send a list of a lot of people you want, the ones you want the most on the top. That is used during the draft and when the draft is over your team is decided. You use the same team during the entire league. The league battles are simple, you write how your team defeats the other team, without writing what the other team does (you can write what they might do but it's a foggy area that is often refuted so it is advised against). That goes on until people vote you out or you win. Its quite simple.
