^^I can't believe Talia's been around for 31 years and this is the first "origin" we've really gotten for her. But you're right - Morrison is the man to do it.

In the end it will be Bruce, Ras and Damian fighting back-to-back.
Damian will show mercy and Bruce will take her life to protect his son.

    At least thats my theory
I don't think Bruce will go that far. I think it's more likely that, if it gets to that situation, Ra's will kill her.

Sweet, naked Ra's al Ghul. Awesome. Needed that this morning.

    ...

ANYWAYS. Odd that the preview is out today, considering that the book isn't coming out until next week... I think someone forgot to tell DC, haha.

I must have missed that one, I'll have to check it out.

On second though, that's part of Our Worlds at War so maybe not.

If I remember correctly, he's no where near as memorable as his Batman Inc incarnation, easily missable.

Yes! Totally came to post this. Also, the "Lion King" tribute in the first panel.

Everyone needs some naked Ra's al Ghul in their day.

... it's not coming out this week? I've seen it listed on a few places for the 20th.
EDIT: NM, saw a correction on the site I normally look at for dates.

DC previously had it on their site for this week but they moved it back to next week. I believe the intention (just my guess, but it makes sense) was to replace the late Justice League #10 with this book, but for whatever reason they decided against that.

    Looks amazing, can't wait.

Is this a scene from The Dark Knight Rises? Heh.

I can't wait another week... especially with this preview. Give it to me now!

    Brilliant preview, as always.

Oh man, I am exited for this. It looks fantastic and I'm really curious about what Morrison is going to do with Talia. She's one of my favorite Batman characters and this arc looks really promising so far.

Definitely. He was kind of a one-note comeback there; sort of a generic over-armed, geared up hitman all decked out with ammo, and a skull mask. Sort of like a DCU Crossbones but without the personality. Mighty Lord Death Man's insane living video-game respawn, carjack and killing spree take is way cooler. And also has that crazy meta-layer of being a transplant of a "Western-style" GTA video-game character into a Japanese city, the ersatz capital of video-games. Pandemonium.

But it's cool that I can buy it being the same guy, since whatever Talia did to "upgrade" him probably fried his brain into the freaky Bat-Manga version.

Now all it needs is for Ra's to say, "simba! Er...i mean talia...you have deliberately disobeyed me!" in Mufasa's voice.

It was always solicited for this week, for some reason, which went against the grain so to speak, since the first, third, fourth and 0 issues were all solicited for the fourth week. Both this and Ravagers were scheduled oddly this month.
