This is waaaay too awesome.
Why is everyone saying it's delayed? DC's site has it as coming out tomorrow... And we have a preview. Where's the "next week" coming from?
Chris Burnham himself said on twitter that it's next week, not tomorrow.
Right? At least Saga is out this week, plus 4 or 5 other really good titles. Enough to ease the pain.
So I'm not sure about how the history is in the New 52 but what is it with Talia and teaching Bruce's sons to be everything he hates? Whether it's his real son in Damian or an adopted one in Jason, she had them both instructed in the ways of murder.
If she really loved him I would think she'd try and pass on his ideals.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
To be "fair" to Talia, Ra's is not exactly unskilled at persuading others his way of thinking is the best, nor is he a weak personality Batman's Batman-iness can easily wash aside.
A utility belt full of crap and a positive outlook?
The distributor: the only place reliable information comes from. I've said this many times before but it still bears repeating: DC's website shipping information is notoriously unreliable (and always has been). It is very rarely updated when schedules change from the time of solicitation. The "shipping this week" thread that appears at the top of this forum is based on the most up to date information.

I'm not even sure I'd call it a delay even if the solicitation was correct as being delayed to me would mean skipping a month.
We want it now!!!
I write comic book reviews every Wednesday using pages from each book. Check it: Is It Good?: All the Best Books of the Day Reviewed!
I would be more interested if Grant started Talia's origin with conception, Woodstock, drugs. Ra's hitting her was too comical for me, due to the art.
nu52 is perfect opportunity to bring back Nyssa, but I doubt it will ever happen.
When I finished the amazing issue of Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples Saga yesterday I admit to being a bit let down that a new issue of Batman Inc wasn't waiting for me.
Don't worry.
My brother and sister of the atom.
We are the X-men, and we stand together
And here we have the greatest single issue in Talia's history – oh wow, it's brilliant. My only complaints are using the new Batsuit for an old flashback scene – but i realise we have to accept that with the New 52 – but also Damian's costume on the submarine was the wrong one, not sure if that's a mistake or if it was enforced.
Anyway, complaints over – this issue is AMAZING. It's a potted history of Talia and her relationship with her father, Batman and how she orchestrated everything – she even had connections to the Black Glove, but i won't spoil how. It's what Morrison does best these days – a tight, compressed 20 pages with more action and more ideas than most writers cram into 20 issues. SO many great moments that i don't want to spoil, but it's interesting to note that Morrison references The Return Of Ra's Al Ghul crossover – a matter of debate round here recently – and he ties it into his story. The first page (which isn't the first page of the preview) even manages a little political commentary by Ra's that you can't help but agree with, and it also has my favourite 'fight scene' in a comic for a while, which is genuinely funny and involves a handclap.
Grade A as always – and i must say that this run on Inc. is already better than the previous one (with the possible exception of the Man-Of-Bats and Stephanie issues).
Brilliant.
[Actually, i do have one other complaint: the paper stock DC are using for these issues is f***ing horrible.]
