Hey there everyone, I know I am pretty new to this board and this is probably frowned upon but I have been a comic fan for ages and I am beyond excited about our next project. Its crazy to think that 20 years after trying to draw Ninja Turtles and Gambit (the bad ass version way back in the day) I would be finally trying to create something of my own.

Anyhow, around 6 months ago I set out to create a comic about two average guys (one is a stoner) trying to become sort of 'street justice super heroes'. No powers, no crazy events or electrical storms to give them powers, just two guys who work at a print shop and hate their lives. I was crazy fired up about the idea so I met with a few of my buddies to see if they would be willing to lend a hand and everyone jumped at the idea, so much so that we all decided to turn it into a pilot for a television show. We like to describe it as Kick-Ass meets Workaholics meets Pineapple Express in a Dark Knight shooting style... the only difference is we don't have any famous people in it and we will not be using 12 year old girls to take down the mafia or shooting Juno in the face. It is a much more 'real world' style show in what we would expect to happen if we threw on some batman & ski masks, got stoned, and tried to clean up Los Angeles.

Now flash forward 6 months to now (this has been an obsession of mine for a long long time) we have the pilot finalized, the whole season laid out, costumes collected, and a crew assembled and I hate to be a person to ask for any handouts but we could really use any help we can get to get the word out there and raise some funds for the project. We recently launched the kickstarter for the project and too much surprise have already raised some money! As a comic book lover myself I really think other comic readers / creators would enjoy the show as it really speaks true to the stuff we all sit around and talk about and what we wish we could do.

I am a bit of a social recluse building websites from my bedroom so my social circle is a little on the lighter side if you know what I mean.
