Oh sweet zombie jeebus, I got the vapors. Quick, I need my smelling salts!

I wish it was Chiang on art, but if that preview did not make people swoon with excitement, I don't know what will.

    YEAAAAAHHH!!!!

Kano is AWESOME! I wish he could do all the fill-ins for WW

So, Diana was really in love? The lasso doesn't affect her? The lasso doesn't force people to tell the truth by itself? She loves him in a different way?
    Oh, so many questions...
But this preview really got me excited again!
    Diana really doesn't need saving

Or there's the idea that she loves everybody a little.

But now I kind of like the idea that the guns did work; she expected Hades to use them on her, and was prepared to make the sacrifice of having to love him; but she's too strong and independent to be bound to someone who doesn't trust her, even if she loves him.

I would add that too, but it would seem weird as long she clearly doesn't love Hera
And I agree with you about the guns did work. It's a very strong depiction of hers.
Now, how they're gonna make Diana stop loving Hades? Maybe Hephaestus gift is a forceps, to pull the bullet out?

    YESSSS!!!! C'mon Wednesday!

Now that Ame-Comi turned out to be a massive disapointment for me, I'm salivating for more Azzy goodness.

If they follow up at all on the Diana from Blackest Night, she does love everyone. He didn't ask her if she was *in* love with him, only if she loved him.

    And Diana loves everyone.

This is the Diana I've been missin' and I'm really looking forward to this issue :)

Well, I hope Azzarello doesn't skip it and we get the answer to that in this very issue.

I'm still trying to understand the hands attached to her gown. Is the smell of rotting flesh an aphrodisiac in hell?

No: for as long as this is in place, she will always have Hades as her true love, and will be incapable of falling in love with another. This will cause her great grief, of course: but remember, she's only interesting when she is suffering.

I thought it was interesting that the hooded officiant called Wonder Woman "Diana of Themyscira, Princess of the Amazons," instead of daughter of Zeus. Is it because Hades doesn't want Zeus mentioned or doesn't want his bride to be recognized as having a lineage that puts her on his level? Or is it as I'd prefer, that the officiant is calling Diana what she considers himself, and she still identifies with her mother's side of the family?

Also, is this the first time in the New 52 that Paradise Island has been called Themyscira?

Careful with that, some might say then Diana is a "murder, rapist monster" like her sisters.

I found interesting too. And I believe is the first time all right. It's great to see Azzarello didn't forget the "formal" name of the island, and he just wanted to show a "Paradox Island"

Who says she's incapable of falling in love with another? And is he really her "true love" if her love is compelled? Love's not a leash, as Wonder Woman just demonstrated.

C'mon, Steve--you were waiting for a "hooray for Wonder Woman"moment. She just pulled down a pillar in hell, reclaimed her lasso, somersaulted onto her horse, knocked Hades back, and told him off in his own house. And this is only page 4. Let me hear a "hooray"!

Heh - looks like Azz took a leaf out of Jodi Piccoults book. I would have to approve, since its one of my all time favourite Wonder Woman moments.

Irene Adler: “I would have you right here on this desk until you begged for mercy twice.”
Sherlock: “I’ve never begged for mercy in my life.”
    Irene: “Twice.”
