It would be over in a heartbeat; he could take down all of them instantly. He'd probably turn them all back on the humans, too, like he did with the Sentinels way back in Millar's X-Men.

What would be really interesting, is if he had been arrested at the end of Ultimatum. So when the government is freaking out about this problem, they'd have to turn to him. I could see some great conversations between Fury and Mags if that were to happen. It could also mark his transition to a secret good guy. And by secret, I mean he's only working for Fury; the other heroes, especially the X-Men, have no idea.

Bummer that he's dead, though.

Well that's sort of a contradiction; Magneto being alive would suggest he didn't drown New York, which means there would be no Nimrods or riots. But I'm assuming you mean if he had survived Ultimatum and Cyclops never killed him. So the answer is: he'd be doing nothing because he would be stuck in the deepest depths of high-level security prison for his crimes against humanity.

If you're suggesting that none of the above happened then he'd for sure be leading the revolution instead of Kitty. The Mimrods, unless they were made of some sort of non-metallic alloy, would fall to him pretty easily. The rioters would also not last long. Long -story-short: Magneto would win.

Well I don't think he'd be causing trouble in the same way but would be viewed as evil due to protecting mutants. If not that, he'd probably have gone into seclusion to find himself due to the revelation that everything he believed was a lie.

Magneto would either be on the run, hiding somewhere, killed or incarcerated, leading the brotherhood or would've joined Tian. I'd have liked to have seen him in Camp Angel along with Piotre and Ororo if he were still alive.

Actually now that I think about it, wasn't it Quicksilver that started the Nimrod program as part of his grand plan or whatever? So if Magneto hadn't died, then Quicksilver either would be working for him (therefore the Nimrods would not have happened) or be back with the Ultimates maybe or just live in some sort of seclusion.
