Title says it all.

Yes. The Post-Clone Saga Spectacular run by JM DeMatteis is what got me into Spider-Man comics in the first place.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Yeah. The first run, with the Harry Osborn saga, is one of the strongest in the character's history.
The second run, post Clone Saga, is also pretty good.
Thanks guys! I read issue 200 today and I was wondering if the rest of it was worth reading. Now im definately going to see if my LCS has the rest of the run.
Hell yes I would.

I just did in my response to the best modern Spider-man authors thread.
I think he's got a good balance bettween fun and serious stories. I think Luke Ross' pencils were great too.
Absolutely. One of the best runs on the character.

Without doubt. Yes.
In the middle of the night...
In a heartbeat. One of the best Spidey runs of all time and capped off what was an overall brilliant title (Spectacular Spider-Man) which saw lots of great creative runs with JDM right there at the top alongside Peter David's. Just fantastic stuff.

Why yes!!!! The guy wrote what it looks to me as Marvel's answer to Batman:The Killing Joke, Kraven's Last Hunt!
Amazing work! and he also wrote some pretty amazing tales on Spec (Child Within among other stories).
Go ahead and make yourself a favour and start collecting!
