Can someone explain Bruce Banner's Spider-Man memories?

In Ultimates 1 #1 when Sam Fury asks Bruce Banner about the hulk, Banner flashes back to a fight between him and Spider-Man.

In Ultimate Fallout #3, when he's asked if he remembers the first time he lost control of his temper and "became something else" he says yes and flashes back to a fight with Spider-Man.

I assumed I'd see this fight in an early Ultimate Spider-Man issue, but then in Ultimate Spider-Man #7 I see Kong's exclamation "That was the Hulk or something" seems to imply the Hulk already exists, unless he was somehow referring to Tyrone Cash, which I doubt.

I'm assuming the Hulk's Ultimate origin is explained at some point.. so does anyone who's read it all have any insight as to why he remembers his first time hulking out involving a fight against Spider-Man?

Misread when I originally posted. I believe they first met in Marvel team-up but I'm not sure.

Yeah, it's #2 and #3 of Ultimate Marvel Team-Up. That line of Kong's is a continuity error though; Banner's first time as the Hulk (which is when he meets Spidey) doesn't happen until sometime shortly after #8 of USM.

A great deal if UMTU is non-canon so it's not really necessary. Best to just read Ultimate Origins instead.

Okay so it's ultimate team up.. that explains j.j. jameson's reference to a hulk story. Oh well I guess the only problem is the Kong line but it seems like an odd mistake, if it was one.. cause it happend in #7 which came out the same month as the hulk issue of ultimate team up. I guess maybe the hulk action happened first
