When did Scott Lobdell say he wanted to do majestic ?
I think he could do a good job introducing majestic.
They can say bad thing about you but you must never say bad things about yourself

Agree with all of that, Sombrero. The Super books are blessed with great art.

Well Im looking forward to trying out Superman #0 now. I hope Scott has the idea flow and passion to push this title further then it currently is.

I think having a universe with Superman, Apollo, Majestic, the Martian, Shazam...will not be a good idea

Agreed. I thought this reason was why we have a whole multiverse.

Majestic is not even in the new universe. Shazam is, but they've revamped so that he's not a magic-themed Superman clone. So really it's just Apollo, who works because it gives a reason for Stormwatch recruiting him.

I like the image. It's fresh and kinetic. If Rocafort ever leaves Superman, he should do a stint on the Flash.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.

I don't really see why people love bulky Superman as it does nothing for the character other than to make him another face in the crowd. I prefer my superheroes to not look like the same guy/girl just in different clothes with different hair/eye color. Supes is fine lean and tall at around 6'3-6'4 and 185-200 lbs range which is about where Rags draws him. He doesn't need to and shouldn't have a similar body to Batman.

I don't like when they overdo it, but I prefer Superman to look somewhat imposing. He comes off as kind of scrawny in Action, which I don't particularly like, but that's probably because he's younger so that's fine.

I like an imposing Superman too, but I think that comes from posture, reptuation, and actions rather than body type. Bruce Wayne is often drawn as tall and built like a Matthew Mcconaughey type but isn't seen as imposing due to attitude. Batman has the same body type but clothing, attitude, and rep makes him the terror of the night.

This is a perfect example of why I love everything about the new costume. Brilliant.
