Hmmm, a lot of Sable being "Dead" dead.
...I'm still gonna hold out. I really think she can rebound from this down the line. No body, no true death.
...though if Slott confirms that this was the death Julia Carpenter was talking about, well...
Huh. Guess I stand corrected.

That Sable would show up alive in Avenging #8.

It was already hinted at being a flashback with the solicit saying "The Untold Story"
And it could go two ways, 1) show the story and end with Sable faded in the sky.
2) Show the story, but leave some hint that she may have survived, like show that the base is empty where her body should have been, see her slightly on the streets, something else vague, who knows.
But yeah, I think Slott put more doubt in my mind because of this interview more than yesterday. If that was his intention, good job.
It sounds like Sable is being taken off the board for awhile. Nothing wrong with that. But it'd be easy enough to bring her and Rhino back when the situation calls for it.
MJ owns a nightclub now and this will show up in random Marvel books? (Is this club called "MJ's?" because Dan sort of implies that it is.) Should be interesting to see where that pops up.
Dan's really playing up the Jonah vs. Horizon thing. And Peter's uncomfortableness about the situation. Sounds cool.
And I have no real guesses for #700.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Well, I guess between Sable and Sabra, it's good one survived their total near death experiences, right?
...Man, this interview suddenly brought my mood down.
Or! Sable died for a few minutes, but is resuscitated. She's the one being wheeled in by the Avengers while we're led to believe in the preview that it's Ock.

But if that's the case, why make a whole flash back about her? She's honestly safer if they don't find the body! Femme Fatales are known for disappearing bodies and coming back a few months later! Look at Black Cat in Ultimate Spider-Man, Electra in Daredevil, or Black Widow II...who turned out to be Natasha...but then they went back and revealed she's in a tube...but then they never took her out of the tube...
Point being, I'm still hopeful. (And I'm expecting Dan Slott to appear any second now and say "Nope, she's dead" to which I say, "AHA!")
Amazing Spider-Man 700 - Aunt May dies! Again! For Real! No Devil take back!
Or he gets back with MJ.
Or both.
I Will Raise my Throne above the Stars of your Gods
The whole broken vow thing won't have any merit if Sable is actually a-ok.
Well, I guess there's the Rhino, but I don't think Peter is too heartbroken about that, especially not to the extent he is about Sable, who like Slott said is someone he really respected and admired, and she felt the same way about him.

Okay, reading this, it really does seem like Silver Sable's supposed death really was the "loss" Julia Carpenter warned him about. As things stand now, I don't see how that can be interpreted any other way.
Also, given the mention of Doc Ock being "practically a vegetable" and "There are not very many ticks left on the Doc Ock clock" and the image of Spidey seeing Doc Ock on life support, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Doc Ock's "dying wish" is for Spidey to pull the plug--and the story before issue #700 is when Spidey does exactly that. And when Slott also states "Spidey saved New York, he saved the world and now it's time to try and save himself," anyone else reminded of the whole "Parker is dead--I am the Spider" routine from after the robot parents storyline and right before the Clone Saga, or is it just me?
