And stupid me, still being surprised to see how Bendis disrespects C list character.
Unless you've got some lettered version of this preview that I don't, I don't think there's any reason to assume that James is afraid of Cage.

Cage lunged at him, Jame fell backwards, and then James walked away. What exactly do people expect him to do? Arrange for some sort of beating? James probably feels bad for Cage... and he probably should.

I might decide to go on hunger strike too if they decided to just feed me a bunch of random colored shape objects.

if he skips too many meals, he's going to lose all his mass and be a steel-skinned weakling.

I sort of thought it looked like a small ham...

But I suppose it could be a cornish game hen.

... not fair. I don't even eat that well.

I'm sure once the jail break occurs, he'll have more than enough strength to beat the crap out of anyone standing between him and his freedom. So I wouldn't worry about it.

He is Lucky Cage didn't grab a hold of him. Otherwise he would have been in trouble. Warpath was pooping bricks there.

The X-men clearly need Xavier's guidance again, or at the very least Wolverine. they've really lost their way in this event

he should be using this time to think about the freedom he tried to deny all the mutants when the avengers tried to lock them up a few issues ago.

You mean the Wolverine that is still running X-Force as a kill-squad? The one that even Cyclops thought was too much? That Wolverine?

yeah that guy. He does what needs to be done, but doesn't think its right to send out child soldiers to fight his battles for him.

I don't know Marvel is having the X-men imprison the Avengers and than remake the world to suite their needs doesn't sound like what the X-men should be about at all

Em...the Avengers were going to lock up the X-Men. At least they're being kept in humane conditions. Hawkeye deserves to get his teeth knocked out though.

I'm not sure any character in marvel has been wrongly imprisoned more than Cage, so I doubt he has a whole lot to think about.

Please, the Avengers are going to try to stop the Phoenix 5, and are going to lose. Usually the governing force will arrest their opponents for insurrections.
