Back to Sabra--her power is actually extreme durability, and super strength. She can fly because of her cape, and has quill like blasters on her gauntlets to replicate the prickly pear like fruit in which she was named after.

She has had several fist fights with the Hulk, and never really came away the worse for wear, so how a bullet actually pierced her skin is beyond me.

The Contest of Champions, which Sabra played a significant role in, was originally slated as a tie-in with the 1980 Summer Olympics. The project was scrapped when Jimmy Carter chose to have America boycott the Olympics in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The script and art was later reworked and made into a cosmic chess-game between Death and The Grandmaster. This is why the participants were all from such a multinational spectrum - they were originally intended to be national delegates for a super hero olympics.

lol I can totally understand. She's a very polarizing character, with her background and abrasive behavior. I think it's due to a lack of exposure that many people have a hard time finding interest in Sabra.
