people, Evolution isn't coming back. deal with it.
They already had an answer to young Justice called Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes. Then they dropped a deuce on fan hopes for a third season because we were clearly enjoying it too much.
I enjoyed X-men TAS and Evolution, and I'm mildly indifferent about Wolverine and the Not-wolverines. If a new series comes out soon, my only hope is that Jeph Loeb has nothing to do with it. As a spider-man enthusiast, I don't want anyone else to suffer what I've suffered since Ultimate Spider-man made its debut.

He was pretty integral to evolution. I couldn't figure out what they were trying to do with him in watxm by sticking him in that stupid trench-coat and giving him angsty stubble. Personally, I would like to see Jean focused upon; her character has always been used as either Scott's woman, Wolvie's dream girl, or somebody's victim. I say do something unexpected and empowering with her. Make her and Storm the co-leaders.

I saw this link too. While this whole AgentX deal seems a little suspicious, he was vindicated about the cancellation of Avengers EMH and Avengers Assemble. So in that sense he does have some credibility. That said, I'm still dubious about this notion that another X-men cartoon is in the works. After what happened with Wolverine and the X-men, I would think Marvel would be more reluctant to entertain having a new cartoon like that. I'm sure they discuss it, but it does come off as one of those hersey moments that's just too good to be true. I would love it to be true, but with Marvel I think it's probably best to not really trust what rumors say.
That said, I hope he's right about Avengers Assemble. After the success of the movie, it makes sense for Marvel to utilize more cinematic elements. If Ultimate Spider-Man is catered to kids, then it makes sense to have a more serious cartoon for the older fans since Avengers EMH is ending. I hope we get some test footage or artwork at Comic Con this year. While I'm still disappointed with Ultimate Spider-Man, I'm more than willing to give Marvel's animation another chance.

I understand that most of you grew up with Evolution but it was pretty terrible.
I liked Evo cause it didn't attempt to follow the comics, but rather created their own little interpretation. I wouldn't mind something like that again, but I don't think it's going to happen.
What I would like for this project is for theire to be a senior and junior team though. like 3 or 4 younger characters being the New Mutants/Generation X/New X-Men. The closest Wolverine and the X-Men had was kitty and bobby but they were pretty none essential in it.
Disappointed the EMH and WatXM were cancelled. Both series were great. But I always enjoy seeing animated series.
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.
