How to stop the Phoenix Force Five - Suggestions

The Phoenix Five change their name to the Furious Five, as it's a much cooler name. They then are told (by the Avengers, no less!) that the "Furious Five" name is copyrighted by Dreamworks and Kung Fu Panda, and the five are so deflated, they give up. We haven't even seen how powerful they really are, they only have fragments of the PF in each of them. If Tony came up woth a machine to kill the Pheonix, I'm sure he can come up with something to suck the power out of them.

It seems more likly that the fragmented parts are more in the Beyonder or Galactus Class than Thors. If the PF was simply 5X Thor Legion would be able to treat it like a puppy since he single paneled three Elder gods who were peers of Odin. Instead the PFs arrival shocked him

I think holding the universe in their hands was a metaphore. And wiping diseased timelines is not a big deal in the Marvel Universe: Immortus and Saturnine can do that, using technology.

Beyonder is an evolved Cosmic Cube, so he is still more powerful than a Cosmic Cube.

The problem with cosmics is that they change their relative power levels all the time; to date, I have read adventures in which it was proven or said that:

Beyonder<Individual Celestials<Galactus<Beyonder

I would put the Beyonder or the Cosmic Cube (when properly used, like Thanos did) above the Celestials, Galactus and the Phoenix; otherwise you would have to retcon many old memorable stories.

By the way, breaking Cap´s shield doesn´t require god-like power; you just need the power to mess with the molecular bonds. Molecule Man destroyed and recreated Cap´s shield once, despite being unable to properly use all his powers at that point (he couldn´t manipulate living beings or create complex machinery like Iron Man´s armor).

Their is already a mutant, or two of least Odin's power level so I imagine they are quite a bit above that.

Bring Back Korvac let them fight it out. Sure that idea is insane and stupid but so is this whole story so far.
