Jeph Loeb was the writer of Heroes Reborn: Captain America, Liefeld was the artist. Most of the temporary changes (6 issues Loeb/Liefeld) except for appearance you would attribute to Loeb, not Liefeld.

Plus it was his job to reimagine and redefine the marvel heroes for the current setting. So any changes not attributed to Loeb we can just chalk them up to him doing his job. That's not the same thing at all as taking an already established character and changing him. Honestly for me who Shatty wants to "have fun" with is less of a problem as is the fact that it seems that his sexuality has driven all of these other changes that make him vastly different from what he was.
I like swords.

I don't know about Grifter and Deathstroke, but I picked up Hawkman 9 and really enjoyed it. Liefield has got me in for the next issue at least.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
Just read Deathstroke #10 and Grifter #10. I actually found Deathstroke to be more enjoyable over last month's issue. Even liked the artwork. I think some characters just fit with Liefield better than others. Not crazy about taking Slade to anti-hero status but looking forward to next issue. Think this is a plus for Liefield. Grifter, however, still seems directionless and uninteresting. Now to see how this month's Hawkman turns out.
The point you are missing is that I was asking if he would create another character like Shatterstar that is work for hire and will years from now be re imagined in a way that will make him have an issue out like he did when Shatterstar was re imagined by Peter David? But you may not have known that piece of history and totally missed what I was referencing as another poster and I got off on a discussion about shoulder pads (which we resolved elsewhere where the rules aren't quite so... limiting.) There I hope that cleared up the discussion for you.
D-Deadman! You killed Deadman!!
