And that's not to knock Turner but Rocafort's art is very distinct.

This is very dissapointing news. I will still follow Red Hood cause I love the characters and direction, but Rockafort was a HUGE influence on the style and action. Different art can completely change a book even if the script remains the same. However, seeing his sci-fi style drawing the technology of Krypton has me interested. I also love Lobdell, so i may just have to try out Superman again. (dropped it with #6 originally)

Where does it say these are only promotional art? They look like what a #0 issue would be. Simple covers that stand out from the regular numbered issues. Similar to what they did with the logo month...

Indeed, and the end of one of the best series in comics.

    Batman Incorporated #0

This will be the first month in a long time where I will be picking up 0 titles. I don't mean to disrespect the current titles, but the truth is that the Vertigo brand is not what it used to be.
50+ titles all with the same cover. Could DC be any more obvious with the "collect them all" attempt? Whatever happened to a good story?
I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.

Conan, The Goon, Astro City, Criminal, Love and Rockets, Fatale, Saga, The Rocketeer

That Frankenstein cover is the best cover of the lot.

I know that's what they said initially, but how can ALL of these covers just be 'promotional art'? I'm fairly sure these covers are pretty much the finished product.

I'm happy DC churning out all these books. I am going to need to fill a few gaps as I need some titles after DC cancellations. I hope Freddie Williams gets another series quick. I am a bit frustrated at how many Batman and Superman family books there are.

Looks like he's the new artist on Green Arrow.

Well, my knee-jerk was "crap!", as I am not a fan or Green Arrow, and then I saw Winick' name, and that is the deal killer. Why, DC, WHY?!?

What do you dislike most about these solicits, Just Endless? Just curious.

Because when left to his own devices (and not having to execute the ill-conceived shotgun marriage) he writes a damn good GA. I don't care much at all for Williams' art, but if Winick is back on the character, I'll give the book a 3rd chance.
