I remember a few of those posters who would tell us to be patient, that Adrianne was a consummate actress, that she would make believers out of us. It didn't matter that most people (and by this, I am referencing alot of other sites that was commenting on the casting choice) thought that Adrianne was a bad choice, but that we would get overwhelmed by her acting.

After seeing the pilot, there was nothing that made me think that another actress with less 'chops' than Adrianne could have done the same job. Another actress that could have the Wonder Woman / Diana look down much better than Adrianne. All Adrianne had was her height. I can live with a casting choice that even puts Diana at 5'7", as long as the look is good (actually good is too weak a word, make that great).

With Wonder Woman, you need to hit a homerun right away with casting, and then the script will hopefully be good enough to greenlight the project.

Awesome cast above. Emma as Zola is just perfect.

Going beyond "Blood", I would add:
Christopher Lee as Ares (I take Azzarello can't act)
    Jack Gleeson as Hades
    Edward Norton as Hermes
    Jason Statham as Lennox
    Owen Wilson as Eros

aaaand... Nicolas Cage as Steve Trevor.

    Kidding.

I'd go with Peter Mensah or Djimon Honsou for Apollo...they aesthetically look the part and are consummate actors as well...

that's another good thing about the new look of the gods. more diverse casting. it makes then more universal. not just "Greek" gods.

    Looooove it !!! :D :D wow..
I also think the new 52 inspired colours work quite well here :)

With Strife, when I think of her, my mind goes to this edgy high fashion model lol, the poses, dress and dramatic attitude, etc. I think, while highly unlikely, supermodel Coco Rocha would be great

well, basically WB needs to find the female version of Chris Hemsworth. a relatively unknown actress who is as perfect for Wonder Woman, as Chris Hemsworth was for Thor.

I agree. None of these famous actresses posted here is a 100% match the way Hemsworth was for Thor, RDJ for Ironman, or Bale for Batman.

Maybe you just can't imagine it. They're only "perfect" in hindsight. And really they all have flaws to nitpick over: Hemsworth's acting, RDJ's age/height, Bale's voice. Besides, what's perfect for you will be different for someone else.

yup, you can't please everyone. that's why WB needs to ignore nitpickers.

I'd still take her now. Oh, wait...you're still talking about the Wonder Woman movie, aren't you?

Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
