Haven't really been following any of the tangents in this thread, but thought I'd throw my opinion in... Of all the actresses who are already out there and established, I'd definitely go with Jaimie Alexander... She's tall, beautiful, she can act, and she can definitely pull off super-strong characters (see her as Lady Sif... awesome!)... She'd need a little bulking up and, though it would be MY preference to leave well enough alone, the studio'd probably pad the hell out of her chest, but all in all, she LOOKS the part and can ACT the part... In my book, that equals nearly perfect... Granted, NO actress will ever live up to my expectations, but I can be made to be content... LOL!

Are you sure that "by the grace of god" you survived? Maybe god was trying to GET you and missed??!!??

Wonder Woman has to be the most beautiful woman in the room, ALWAYS. That is why everyone in the Justice League has the hots for her, yes, even Batman.
A young Monica Belluci would have been perfect. But since youth is the premium, how about Gal Gadot from The Fast and The Furious franchise?
If she can act... not bad. Especially as she's apparently near 6' tall.
I honestly never got the Megan Fox casting fantasy.
How does anybody look or listen to Megan Fox and come up with Wonder Woman? It's as if we're saying any Caucasian woman with dark hair can climb into that costume and become Wondy, ..and I just don't think it's that easy. Megan Fox is just wa-aay too common for this role. She's a pretty checkout girl at Wal-Mart. She's like a girl partying at a sports bar, somewhere.
For my money, she's just NOT Wonder Woman.
She needs to be a big, pretty, broad-shouldered, Caucasian-looking gal ..and just a little bit physically imposing. While you should feel the threat of her, she should be beautiful enough that you don't care. She should be also be a little exotic, pehaps in the Mediterranean sense, ..but possessed of a girl-next-door charm.
For my money, she isn't a Southeast Asian, a blonde Scandinavian, a black or African-looking woman or anyone, whose looks radically differ from the dark-haired, rosy-hued Amazon in the comic I've been reading forever. You should look at her and recognize her as the comic book superheroine come magically to life on the Big Screen.
Sorry, if that's not PC. I'm a multi-racial and multi-cultural person, myself, and certainly meant no offense, here.
She is NOT George Perez's serene foreign princess, anymore, ..and she is not Lynda Carter's Fifties-styled, pageant elegance. She's not the cool-as-ice secret agent Ms. Carter gave us in Seasons Two and Three, ..but not a doe-eyed babe-in-arms, either.
She's Angelina Jolie mystery, with Lucy Lawless's angst, Erica Durance's tomboyish charm and Michelle Obama's conviction.
Even with the Devil beating down your door, when she's in the room, there's something about her warmth and the physical power of her that makes you you feel everything's going to be alright. It's something in her smile, her shoulders, the way she stands, ..and you'd follow her into the gates of Hell.
That's Wonder Woman. That ain't Megan Fox.

From the Golden Age of comics, the film short they don't want you to see... WONDER BOY LIVES!
She is definitely my choice for Diana too. I think out of all the actresses she looks the most like her. She seems believable as a warrior princess without being manly. And she isn't so well known that you see an actress playing a character instead of just seeing the character on screen
Humor me...I might be on to something. ;)
There is definitely a hush-hush filming project brewing and it's DC related. Also, someone tweeted about a logo appearing on a building in Croydon, England and believes they're filming a superhero movie. Better not be a Bronze Tiger before a WW film or could just be a decoy for later CGI.
