Ebony White comes to mind...probably the least fortunate thing Eisner came up with.

And yeah Etta and the others were occasionally more than damsels in distress, and I guess you are right about Etta...certainly she's the only one that's survived to this day? :)

I now predict several outraged posts telling me how stupid it is to suggest her for the role, btw; I can even probably predict the names of the posters with at least 90 percent accuracy. Wanna bet? :)
I don't have anything against Hathaway and I didn't go into a rage over her getting the part of Catwoman as some people did. That said, her being Catwoman kinda excludes her from playing Diana...since people will be linking the two roles the same way it would if she had also been cast as Lois Lane for Man of Steel. Personally though I'd want her to bulk out a little for the part.
Also like I said before, for me acting skills comes first, physical appearance second (because that can be fixed).

They could do far worse than casting Anne Hathaway for WW.

But they also could do better: cast Hilary Rhoda :p

Right age, right eye color, right height. Get her some acting coaching and screen experience and all systems go.
Don't worry DC Comics fans, Marvel has everything under control.

    Here's a thought -

    - pick the artwork that you think best depicts Diana.

Then find an actress that best suits that pic.

    Default Teri Reeves?

Has anybody mentioned Teri Reeves as possibly donning the golden tiara for a live action Wonder Woman endeavor? I just noticed her on Chicago Fire. IMDB states that she's 5'8" but no mention of age. Just tossing her name into the ring.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

Please do not characterize 'the board' or 'the posters' in a negative light about opinions that haven't been voiced about an event that hasn't even occurred. Stick to the topic, not the people talking about it.

I'm kinda having to agree about Meghan Ory, having watched her on Once Upon a Time. An experienced actress, who is tall (because I'd like WW to be tall, not just have to project power through attitude).

The DC relaunch was successful and was executed in what was most likely the best way it could given restrictions we wouldn't know about. No, your idea wouldn't have worked. Now move on.

Have to agree on Gosling as Steve Trevor. And does everyone agree that Diana needs to be taller than Superman?I believe she does or equally as tall.
