I don't mean to continue the Walking Dead comparisons because I'm sure that gets old BUT... I'm a big WD fan and also love noir. The last noir comic I read was Snyder's Severed and loved it as well. This book you have here... well it left me thirsty like the end of many Walking Dead books. The only difference is... it only took you one issue to do what WD took 100 to do! The character development was SUPERB! It's very rare that characters become familiar in only one issue but you managed to do it. My mouth dropped open during a certain bloody scene much the same way it dropped open when another book's character favorite had their big scene recently! Remarkable. I prolly oughta check out that Hack/Slash book eh?
While I loved Revival's cover, I think Frank Quitely's granny cover variant from WD #100 woulda made more sense on your book. lol
I wish you the best of success!
PS - I live in Missouri and used to make yearly trips to Wisconsin to visit my grand parents. It's cool to have a book set in the mid-west!
